Hello, I’m Saabira - a Dietitian, Counsellor, and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician who understands how overwhelming it can feel to navigate food, body image, and emotional eating.

My CredentialsÂ
With a background in Medical Nutrition Therapy and Counselling, Saabira has the skills to translate nutritional science and mental health research into understandable and practical messages. She has expertise in women’s health, disordered eating and mental health concerns. Using a non-diet and Health at Every Size approach, and well known behaviour change techinques. Saabira believes that everyone has a right to enjoy the moments of life, in the best health, no strings attached.

How it all began...
My journey began from a place of personal understanding—I know how overwhelming it feels to constantly worry about eating “right” or looking “right.” With a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s in Counselling from Monash University, I realized that traditional approaches often miss the mental and emotional side of these issues. So, I combined my expertise in nutrition and mental health to create a holistic approach that truly works.
For over a decade, I’ve helped people redefine their relationship with food and make lasting changes. Many clients find my approach a refreshing change from past dietitian experiences, appreciating the focus on mental and emotional well-being alongside nutrition.
Through a non-diet approach grounded in Health at Every Size principles, I guide you in reconnecting with your body, silencing the mental chatter, and letting go of rigid food rules.
This isn’t about fitting society’s mold; it’s about honoring your unique needs, releasing food anxiety, and finding peace with yourself. I believe everyone deserves to feel at ease with their food and body, and my mission is to make that possible for you.
